Lin Xin's solo exhibition "Perfect Sin" showcases his artistic creation comprehensively for the first time. The exhibition emphasizes that in the pursuit of perfection, change, development, and progress, we may be heading towards self-destruction. Virtual realities such as film and television, high-fidelity sound, and computer coding gradually replace reality, with us becoming mere substitutes. Lin Xin's works center around the theme of "Simulacra," using electronic components and machinery to create cold, humanoid figures, exploring ideal futures and virtual existence. His artistic world represents a form of "cold art," expressing concepts of hyper-reality through simulacra and virtual space, reflecting cultural shifts in the virtual age and humanity's reconsideration of modes of existence.
