Sculptors Born After the Year 1970 Group Exhibition "New Language in Sculptures" highlights the exploration and research of sculptors born in the 1970s. Combining Chinese cultural aesthetics and life experiences, they capture the relationship between modern society and visual culture, showcasing unique styles different from traditional sculptures. Xia Hang's sculptures focus on "play" and "disassembly," emphasizing interaction with the audience. Zheng Lu's work emphasizes "interpreting nonexistence" with pieces formed by readable characters, reflecting literary and Eastern aesthetic elements. Fan Xiaoyan's works use stainless steel to contrast with the female body, reflecting on modern technology's impact on women. Zou Liang's pieces, inspired by Tang Sancai, showcase the fluidity and instability of contemporary society. Su Zhipeng's new series "Quilt" evokes memories of life and homeland. Wang Liwei uses leather to emphasize fluid lines and explores positive and negative spaces in sculpture, reflecting the fragmented state of contemporary humanity. The exhibition presents the growth and innovation of a new generation of sculptors, offering a unique visual journey for the audience.
