The New Age Gallery, dedicated to promoting Chinese Western art, will host its inaugural exhibition titled "Diverse Generations, Firm Perspectives" on April 28, 2007, at a new space in Beijing's 798 Art Zone. This exhibition aims to showcase the gallery's fresh management philosophy and its focus on discovering and promoting emerging talents in contemporary Chinese oil painting. It will introduce a series of the youngest Chinese artists, paving the way for their careers and contributing to the development of contemporary Chinese art. The theme of the exhibition, "Diverse Generations, Firm Perspectives," addresses the contemporary cultural diversity and characteristics prevalent in today's world, entering a era of plurality.
Ten young Chinese artists participating in this inaugural exhibition include: Guan Yong, Hu Hua, Jia Gang, Wang Jie, Xia Hang, Xu Xiangdong, You Jin, Zhang Yongzheng, Zeng Qingguo, and Zhong Shan. Their works exhibit distinctive characteristics in terms of creative concepts, expressive vocabulary, and artistic techniques, showcasing a new perspective on contemporary Chinese art. We hope this exhibition will immerse you in the firm perspectives and creative languages of these young artists, offering a profound experience of the exhibition's contemporary thematic focus.
